Homestuck, in the words of De, is the Gen Z Odyssey.
In actuality, it’s a webcomic that uses animation, music, games, and of course comics to tell the story of four kids who accidentally cause the apocalypse and have to deal with the fallout. It started April 13, 2009 and ended April 13, 2016 and spanned around 8,000-10,000 pages by the time it finished. It was written and drawn by Andrew Hussie, and became a huge phenomenon for Gen Z, especially for those who browse(d) the social media platform Tumblr in the 2010’s. If you’ve ever been to a con (like comic con) and seen people with grey skin and orange horns on their head, they were probably dressing as a Homestuck character!
