Hi! We’re Ray and De, and we’re starting a project to read all the way through Homestuck.
De (Gen X): I’ve tried reading Homestuck several times, but I keep getting bogged down. A lot of the references are going over my head. I’m a professional fiction writer and really enjoy breaking down stories to see how they work. Homestuck has always been kind of like, “The Gen Z Odyssey” for me, an epic tale of gods, monsters, and long journeys.
Ray (Gen Z): I’ve never finished Homestuck, but I’ve gone through most of it via listening to it on Youtube. I usually get distracted and out of the mood by the time I get close to done, so, never finished! :p I’m the artist of this duo so most of the art you’ll see on here’ll be from me.
We’re going to be looking up references, doing some casual literary analysis, cracking jokes, and generally amusing ourselves.
